Anne Featured in 2009 Great Quilt Festival

January 24, 2009 - the 2009 Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival is coming to a close. Held in the Tokyo Dome, this week-long event features hundreds of award winning quilts from around the world.

This year the festival highlighted a special exhibit of quilts inspired by Anne of Green Gables. The impressive display featured particular quilts with the iconic images of Anne’s world.

Quilting has always been a part of the Anne of Green Gables lifestyle. The intricate practice strikes a chord with years of tradition as well as a sense of elegant beauty.
