
A number of films from the Sullivan Movie Library will be showcased on CTV and “A” Channel as part of the Networks’ holiday schedule. Please stay tuned for any changes or updates as this schedule is subject to change.
On Saturday December 5th at 8 pm on the CTV Big Picture: Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning starring Shirley MacLaine, Barbara Hershey, Rachel Blanchard and newcomer Hannah Endicott-Douglas.
On Saturday December 19th and Sunday December 20th at 8 pm. on “A” Channel’s The Big Picture: the original Anne of Green Gables starring Megan Follows, Colleen Dewhurst and Richard Farnsworth airs in 2 parts (Part 1 Saturday, Part 2 Sunday)
On Wednesday December 23rd at 8 pm on “A” Channel’s The Big Picture: Mozart’s Magic Flute Diaries, starring Rutger Hauer and Warren Christie, tells the story of an impressionable young singer who is cast as the lead in a Salzburg production of “The Magic Flute” and caught off-guard by a mysterious Russian soprano who is his co-star. This delightful family film is a wonderful, contemporary movie version of Mozart’s beautiful opera.
On Friday, December 25th at 8pm on “A” Channel’s The Big Picture: An Avonlea Christmas stars the magnificent ensemble cast from Road to Avonlea. This uplifting story of the King Family during the Great War will be an emotional and uplifting conclusion to every family’s Christmas celebrations.
On Saturday December 26th and Sunday December 27th at 7 pm. on “A” Channel’s The Big Picture: Anne of Green Gables- The Sequel starring Megan Follows, Colleen Dewhurst, Jonathon Crombie and Wendy Hiller airs in 2 parts (Part 1 Saturday, Part 2 Sunday)
On Saturday January 2nd at 7pm and Sunday January 3rd at 8 pm. on “A” Channel’s The Big Picture: Anne of Green Gables- The Continuing Story starring Megan Follows, Jonathon Crombie and Cameron Daddo airs in 2 parts (Part 1 Saturday @ 7pm, Part 2 Sunday @ 8 pm)
