A New Beginning nominated for DGC Awards

The most recent installment of Anne of Green Gables has been nominated for 2 Director’s Guild of Canada awards. Anne of Green Gables will compete for the honor of being the best Team Television Movie/Mini-Series at the awards gala on October 24th, 2009. In addition, Ray Lorenz, the production designer for the film, has a chance to win an award for best Production Design in a Television Movie/Mini-Series.
