Which one of the three movies do you think Jonathan looks better in? I think he looks the best in the first one, he was really adorable. My personal opinion about his looks in the third one, I thought he looked rather thin and tired looking. What do you think?

I loved him in Anne 2. He looked so grown up yet, still had a boyish look to him.

I guess it depends on your age right? 8) I like his character, so it was nice to see Gilbert grow up. It would have been better to see him go on to become a Doctor on Glen St. Mary's though for me.

When I watched Anne movies for the first time, I liked him best in Anne1. But, I was a very little girl then.
Now, I think he looked best in Anne2. :)
In Anne3 he was very thin, as annefan said (maybe it was because of the war, though).

I liked him in Anne 2 best when I was a teenager, but now I think be is best in Anne 3. He is so handsome in it, especially in his uniform.

Me too. ;D When I watched it as a teenager I just about wore out the end of the video by rewinding it all the time to watch it over and over again.

The final scene of Anne 2 is ruined for me now after listening to the director's commentary. Now I can see all the technical flaws and it drives me crazy. Still, at least we got a kiss. I still have the final scene as Anne 1 as my fave.

I can't answer your question either.

I think he looked the best at the first part of Anne2, he looked like a boy trying to be grown up at close to the end of the movie but at the VERY end he looked more like himself. I really liked him in uniform at his wedding in Anne3 but at the end of that one did I see grey hair at his temples? That just broke me in half, I hated to see him growing old, but I think it was really because of the war not his age. Does anyone know his characters age by the end of Anne3? He was 16 at the beginning of Anne1 so at the end of Anne1 he was 19 and 2 years later in Anne2 he was 21 and by the end of Anne2 we was 22-23? lets just say 22 to make all this math easier. Ok so five years later at the beginning of Anne3 he would have been 27 ( WOW!!) and that was in 1914 and the movie ended in 1919 right? so he was 32????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JC was about 18 in A1, 20-21 in A2, and 32-33 in A3.

(He is looking more and more like my father.  That's not an 'age' comment, it's a likeness comment as he matures.  And I'm starting to get freaked out by my own fancrush...)

Me too. When I was in my mid teens I liked Gilbert in the second film and now I refer him in the third movie. :D Like Anne with a twist I really liked him in his uniform. Sooo handsome!!! ;)I noticed he had a bit of grey hair at the end and I agree that it was probably from what he saw in the war and from being a POW.

I like him in all of the movies but I'd have to say the 1st one. I have a thing for guys with brown curls, it's my weakness, lol.

Definitely Parts I and II.  On Part III he looks extremely handsome but tooooooooooo thin, what in turn made him look tired and older.  :o

His hair is at its best in Anne I.

In Anne III, he's far from ugly, but not as cute and baby-faced as in the other 2 films.

About Jonathan Crombie, can anyone tell me how tall he is, what color are his eyes considering that sometimes they look blue/hazel and others brown?.  I know that in the past he was working also in Paris, I red somewhere that he is he fluent in French, is he?

I *think* that I've read that Jon is 5' 10", but that may be wrong.  His eyes are blue.    It's quite possible that he can fluently speak French.  :)
