Misplaced Locations (October 3, 2007)

Upon hearing the name Anne Shirley, one instantly pictures Green Gables, historical towns and the beautiful shores of PEI. Sullivan Entertainment has always gone through great depths to create lavish landscapes, and Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning will not be an exception.

While much of the new film will be shot at various Canadian locations, some of the scenes will be filmed at the Sullivan Studio. While the brick building may not appear to be anything special from the outside, the inside houses a delightful collection of memorable and familiar locations from the world of Avonlea. According to one Sullivan Employee, there is a set under construction that looks as if it will become Green Gables itself.

As the first shooting day for A New Beginning rapidly approaches, the studio has become a very busy location. Not only is production office burning the midnight oil, but wardrobe, props and sets personnel are busy in preparation. Stay tuned to see how things develop!
